During the school holidays my father decided to take us to Water World in Ja-ela. We went by bus. By the time we reached there, it was 9.30 a.m.
We bought three tickets to enter Water World. On entering we saw a large pond with gold fish as long as my arm. Then we entered a dark tunnel with huge tanks. There were all sorts of fish and sea creatures. There were big fish, tiny fish and even fish shaped like boats. The guide told us that they are called Stingrays. There were some fish that glowed in the dark. We also saw Jelly fish, Sea horses and long Eels. The star fish was funny and the lion fish was scary because it was poisonous.
Next, we went into the underwater tunnel that was made of glass, with water all around. It was as if we were walking under the ocean with all the fish swimming around us.
After we came out from the other side of the tunnel, we saw a mini swamp full of crocodiles. They were scary and huge with their big mouths full with two rows of sharp teeth. It was feeding time and we saw the keepers feeding them meat. It was frightening and interesting to watch the crocodiles fight over the meat.
Then we went towards the end of the park. On our way, we saw some birds, such as pelicans and storks. My brother and I were very sad to reach the end and to leave, but our father brought us ice cream and took us home in a cab.
