Newspapers are the mirror of the world. They play an important role in society. Every newspaper has various sections, such as political news, international news and events, social interests, sports, employment opportunities and the economy. In Sri Lanka, there are popular newspapers such as the Sunday Observer, Daily News, Dinamina, Lankadeepa, Veerakesari to name a few. There are newspapers for children such as the Junior Observer and Vijaya which improve our knowledge. We must read newspapers as a daily habit. It is one of the cheapest sources of knowledge to everybody.
