The street children of Sri Lanka

23 June, 2019

We meet street children on the streets. They never go to school. They sleep on pavements, spending their day begging or doing odd jobs. Nobody seems to care for them. The number of street children are increasing day by day.

Most of these children are used for distributing drugs. They have become a major social problem in Sri Lanka. The government should act to rid this situation and protect them.
