Narandeniya National School wins ISA Reaccreditaion Award

Narandeniya National School to its credit has won a number of awards nationally and internationally. It secured the ISA International Award 2013 and won the ISA Reaccreditation on June 13, 2018 at the Colombo Hilton.

The award was presented by the British Council South Asian Regional School Manager, Rebeca Picton and Education Ministry's Senior Assistant Secretary Dr (Mrs) Madura Wehella. Principal D.L. Priyadarshana, deputy principals, staff and students helped achieve their victories. The school had launched eight projects and four of which were with schools in India, Nepal and South Korea. The diverse families was a special project with foreign countries with the involvement of Gathara Junior School. It was conducted by ISA Coordinator, H.A. Nelomi Nilanka, ISA Asst. Coordinator, N.K.I. Rupasinghe and ICT Coordinator, T.D.K. Dilini Chandima. Improvement in children's knowledge, impressions and skills through their exposure to global village and technology was the main objective of this project. Supplementary to these were the promotion of communication skills, computer literacy, creativity and leadership.
