A book I read recently was The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien. It is the second part of The Lord of the Ring series. It was first published in November 1954 by Allen and Unwin and later by Harper Collins.
After the company of the ring is torn apart, Frodo and his companion Sam continue their heroic journey along the Great River Anduin, while the others of the company of the ring battle with orcs and many evil spirits, on their way to the great battle against the evil Lord Sauron. I like this book because the story is magnificently told, and also because it highlights the incredible imagination of Tolkien.
