Hayleys PLC flagship CSR initiative Puritas Sathdiyawara went a step further with their latest project ‘Going Beyond’ and distributed school essentials among 2,400 students from Grade 1 to 11 across 10 villages in two provinces, North and the North Central.
Through this initiative, eight subsidiaries of the Group collectively invested over Rs. 4.5 mn and distributed packages of school essentials including stationery, uniform material and accessories such as pencil cases and water bottles among students from low-income families.
Beneficiaries of Puritas Sathdiyawara - 'Going Beyond’ did not forget to express their gratitude to the sponsors through small notes stating how much this generous gesture meant to them. In their notes, they wrote that stepping into the new school year with new books and supplies was truly a dream come true for them.
