My school is Ananda Primary College which is in the Erathna village in Ratnapura district. It was started on 21st of January 2013. At that time we had only one teacher and 28 students. But today we have ten teachers and more than 180 students. The principal’s name is W.K.S. Erathna. We have three buildings and a big play ground in our school. It is surrounded by a beautiful environment which is full of flora.
My present class teacher’s name is T.A.N. Kumari. She is a very creative, dedicated and kind hearted person. All our other teachers are also very innovative. I’m the first student to enrol in this school. I’m very proud to say that I was able to get through the Grade 5 Scholarship examination with 174 marks, I could protect the dignity of our school. But after December we have to select another school for our secondary education. I don’t know how to depart from this school, teachers and friends. Finally, I wish a better future for my school.
