Percy Jackson and the Battle of the Labyrinth is a novel written by Rick Riordan and published by Puffin books. It is about an adventurous quest in a dark labyrinth. The book is written around the main character Percy Jackson who goes on a dangerous quest with Annabeth Chase, Grover Underwood and Tyson. After their arch enemy Luke wanted to invade their camp by using the labyrinth, they aim to find its inventor Daedalus in order to prevent the huge destruction that is going to happen. After saying goodbye to sunshine, they enter the labyrinth and face many challenges. Percy and his friends fight for others’ lives much more than their own.

I like this book because it shows us how unity, courage, determination as well as right choices can defeat evil. It also shows us the power of great friendships.
