President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe participated at the Nila Mehewara National Program in Vavuniya yesterday.
The Nila Mehewara mobile government service provides services such as issuing birth certificates, NICs, pension funds, driving licences, granting of spectacles, health, advisory services and sorting land problems. Here President Sirisena and Prime Minister Wickremesinghe at a ceremony to distribute school bags to children in the area.
The President also met the mother of Vidya who was murdered in Jaffna in May, 2015.
