A one-day workshop on photography for the benefit of those involved in the artist, both Sinhala and Tamil medium within the District of Ampara was held at the District Secretariat Auditorium, Ampara recently. The workshop was jointly organized by, the Ampara District Secretary Thusitha P Wanigasingha , the State Advisory Board for Photography and the Department of Cultural Affairs.
The State Photography Advisory Board, the Department of Cultural Affairs Chairman Henry Rajakaruna, the State Photography Advisory Board Members Sithmini Rathmalala, G. Hettiarachchi, Bandu Gunarathna and Thilak Godamanna conducted the workshop. Ampara District Secretariat Cultural Officer T. M. Rinzan was in charge of the workshop. All participants were awarded certificates.
