We known as the disabled
Or if euphemism is used
The differently able
Lead a life
That the able should know, not rosy
But with a lot of bitter experiences.
We, the “Aabadhithayo” as the able label us
little we get the able’s support
But we never grumble
Or demand much
Displaying protest campaigns
Yet we have no ill will towards the able
Nor we become envious seeing your comforts.
Anyhow, we manage ourselves
Not fretting, not complaining
But we’d like to make a very earnest request
From the so called the able
If you are unwilling
To give us a helping hand
Please leave us undisturbed
To suffer our sad fate.
You the able think
When you get power
You are more equal than others
Whereas in God’s world
All are equal
That’s worthwhile to remember.
From you
We must make one humble innocent plea
When you lose your temper
Emotionally confused or become wrathful
Don’t grab our crutches
And use them as a tool
To attack your enemy or otherwise
It makes us humiliated
It is repulsive, shameful
It reveals the attackers mean nature
It’s a disgrace to the entire country
An irreparable damage to the nation’s pride.
