
The International Center for Academics (ICA) was opened at the World Trade Centre in Colombo recently providing students with modern education skills needed to meet the demand for future job opportunities.
“Going beyond traditional learning and in a bid to support students we have also introduced online education for students. This will enable students to gain more from their home or work places,” said founder ICA, Damitha Wickramasinghe. He was also the former Chairman of the Vocational Training Authority and Chairman of the National Youth Services Council and plays a key role in instrumenting ICA’s commitment to holistic student development.
Chairman CEO, Dr. Manjula Fernando said, “With a strong commitment of nurturing crucial soft skills in its students, ICA prepares them to succeed for the demands in a rapidly evolving professional world.
“We have also affiliated with the esteemed IIC University of Technology in Cambodia which is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the International Association of Universities (IAU),” Fernando said.
