Akvora International (Pvt) Ltd launched Giti tyres in Sri Lanka last week. Giti tyre is ranked among the top 10 most valuable tire brands, globally, and brings a wide range of quality products and innovative technologies to the Sri Lankan market, a company spokesman said.
Akvora International is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Akvora (Pvt) Ltd, an importer and distributor of air conditioning systems. While its venture into tyres is new, Akvora International is led by a team of professionals with a collective experience of over 100 years behind them, in the automotive space.
Sales and Marketing Manager, ASEAN, Australia, and Sri Lanka at Giti Tire Group, Nik Goh and Head of Marketing – Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, and Oceana, Giti Tire Group, Ms. Shiroo Chia were also present at the launch. The launch also brought Giti Magic Sound and Giti Seal – to the local market. Giti Magic Sound is an innovative solution that improves static sound absorption and noise reduction. Tested on various road surfaces, this technology has demonstrated a significant reduction in noise levels, lowering them by two to four decibels.
Giti Seal offers quick sealing capabilities with its high-viscosity sealant and ensures that a puncture on a Giti tyre can be rapidly plugged and the tyre seamlessly returned to service.
