Anula Vidyalaya, Nugegoda held a leadership training camp for its newly elected junior prefects 2023.
The event was held at the school premises and the program was conducted by the Members of the Special Task Force (STF).
Fifty-nine primary prefects attended the program held on June 17, 2023.
Exercises, team work, leadership training and entertainment were included in the day’s program. Breakfast, lunch, tea and snacks were served at the event.
The program was the brainchild of the Principal of Anula Vidyalaya, Wayoni Vishakha Rajapaksha. She worked tirelessly to make the event a success and was supported by Assistant Principal, Chandrani Amarasinghe, other teachers, non-academic staff and parents.
Speaking at the event the Principal thanked the STF Officers for their generous support to make this program a success. She observed a changed in the primary prefects by evening and they were more confident. She said that she expects them to continue on this path and become valuable members of society.
In conclusion, the Principal Vishakha Rajapaksha thanked, Assistant Principal, Chandrani Amarasinghe, other teachers, non-academic staff and parents for their efforts in making this program success.
