A bus carrying pilgrims fell down a precipice resulting in death of two and leaving several others injured. The accident happened around late evening yesterday (19 February) near Ginigathena Norton Bridge, where the bus tumbled off a 100 feet cliff.
According to the Police, 26 people were injured from the accident and taken to the hospital after a difficult rescue operation.
The group of pilgrims were on their way home after visiting the Sri pada when they met with this unfortunate accident.
