“They say love hurts but no not for Allie, Josh is everything she has been dreaming of her whole life. Despite their small complications everything was perfect between them. At least that’s what Allie thought until everything decides to take an unexpected turn when she faces something she never thought she would in her entire life. Battling for the love of her life and vials on her way, Allie decides to do something she never thought she would to save the one thing she needs the most, but little does she know that, that is her Turning Point.”

Chasing a childhood dream, Sheruya Perera, an attorney and a budding author in her early 20s launched her maiden novel ‘Turning Point’, a romantic novel, recently.

She says the book is a gift of love during Christmas - a season for love, care and giving.

“This readable fiction is based on essential moral values: love and faith. A promising start to a good author”, award winning author Mahinda Prasad Masimbula described young Sheruya’s talents as she embarked on a new journey in her chosen path.

She presented the first copies of her book to her parents Anoja and Jude Perera. The simple ceremony was graced by a gathering of writers and media personnel.
