According to Department of Epidemiology statistics, 51,259 dengue cases were reported from January to October of this year, while 4,633 rat fever patients were reported during the same period.
The Colombo district had the highest number of 10,595 dengue cases reported in the last ten months with 871 cases of rat fever.
