Misted Trails, a novel written jointly as a co–authored work of fiction by Dilshan Boange in Sri Lanka, and Dr. Ajay Joshi in India, was launched at Bharati Niwas Hall, Erandwade, Pune, in Maharashtra India recently, amid a gathering of academics, artists, writers, literature lovers and well wishers.
Misted Trails which the authors call an experimental novel came to fruition through a near eight-year experiment in creative writing engaged in by Joshi and Boange.
The novel’s storyline and settings, and the fact that the co – authors are from India and Sri Lanka aptly make Misted Trails very much an ‘Indo – Lankan novel’, and quite possibly the very first of its kind.
The story brings a host of characters and events that take the reader to locations such as Shillong in the Northeast of India, Goa in Western India, and Sri Lanka’s capital, Colombo.
While the book is available for online purchase via Amazon, the authors will make arrangements for a limited quantity of Misted Trails to be available for purchase in selected bookshops in Sri Lanka.
