Ishka Muduwanthi
Ishka Muduwanthi of St. Francis Maha Vidyalaya, Dalugama, Kelaniya qualified to represent Sri Lanka in the 50kgs weight category in karate Kumite at the Asian Games to be held in Hanjo, China in September this year
She qualified at the Karate Kumite Ten Weights qualifying tournament held recently.
She had previously won a bronze medal in this event at the South Asian Games.
Principal of the school Quintus Paul, coach Wasantha Seneviratne and Sports Instructor Kumudu Priyanka are backing Maduwanthi to the fullest ahead of the Asian Games.
