Golfer Chanaka Perera emerged on top with an impressive performance at the Second Ranking Tournament held at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club course from February 22 to 25.
Perera obtained scores of 73, 67, 74, 71 from the four rounds to aggregate 285 which was 19 strokes better than
Vinod Kumar and Uchitha Akash who finished second and third respectively with admirable scores.
Sri Lanka Golf (SLG) is conducting these ranking tournaments to help leading golfers raise their mental and physical levels to impress at the forthcoming international tournaments.
Many of the professional golfers did not participate in this tournament as they were involved in the Indian circuit. (TBR)
