1. You have heard of whales. But have you ever heard about a man who could stay alive in a whale’s stomach? He is none other than James Bartley.

He was swallowed by a whale, when his ship was attacked in 1891. After having found the whale, the ship crew killed the whale and cut it open to find James’ dead body. To their amazement, James Bartley, thought to be dead, was found alive in the whale’s stomach.

As a result of the stomach acid of the whale, his face and arms had been bleached. Apart from that, he had lost his eyesight.

The first thing that you will lose in a whale’s stomach is your much loved skin. You are lucky if you can avoid its teeth because each tooth is around 20 centimeters long. Whales have four stomachs. After you get dropped into the first stomach you will find it hard to breathe for lack of oxygen. At that time, you will feel hydrochloric acid beginning to harm your skin. Next you will be tossed from the first stomach to the second one in which acid starts to break your bones until you become a bunch of broken bones being ejected from its anus.
