A tree planting campaign and an awareness program was organised by Addalaichenai Suvaduhal Organisation under the theme ‘Plant a tree for free oxygen’ to empower public on the importance of planting trees at Addalaichenai Beach Park, recently. The aim of the program was to secure the Presidential Award Environmental Pioneer. Addalaichenai Madhya Maha Vidyalaya (National School) Environmental Pioneer, N. Mohamed Baahir presided at the meeting while Addalaichenai Assistant Divisional Secretary (ADS), F. Naheeja Musafir graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
