Mechanism to check jaggery, treacle adulteration

 The Industrial Technology Institute has invented mechanism to prevent adulteration of kitul jaggery and kitul treacle. The adulteration of kitul jaggery and kitul treacle poses a threat to the health of the consumers, institute sources said.
 The sources said that the new kit can detect minimum 20 percent cane sugar adulteration in kituljaggery with 80 percent accuracy and a minimum of 25 percent cane sugar treacle with 75 percent accuracy.
