Kandy fancied to beat CR at Nittawela today

23 February, 2020

Kandy SC will meet CR and FC in their second round League rugby match at Nittawela today.

When the two teams met in a first round match at Longden Place in Colombo, Kandy romped home winners bt 41 points to 27 and are favoured to win today’s match as well.

Kandy have triumphed over every side they met this season and today the game should be an interesting one as both teams are blessed with good ball handlers who know how to meet expectations. Kandy owes much to the dedication of the players and the discipline they follow which has made them a great side in the Sri Lanka domestic rugby scene.

CR have improved and are doing well as the second best team and Kandy cannot afford to take them lightly.

CR have the potential to rise to the occasion in this game and the contest is expected to draw a crowd who could be assured of witnessing top class rugby from both the forwards and backs.
