The two-day adjournment debate on the Policy Statement presented to Parliament by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa on Friday (January 3) will be held in Parliament on January 7 and 8 from 1.00 pm to 6.30 pm.

The decision on the two-day adjournment debate had been taken during a meeting with political party leaders held at the parliamentary complex on Friday, parliamentary sources told the Sunday Observer.

Perera and TNA MP M.A Sumanthiran were present at the Friday’s Party Leaders meeting chaired by Speaker Karu Jayasuriya.
