A cricket school known as the Stallions Cricket Academy was declared open by the Mayor of Matara, Ranjith Yasaratne recently in Walgama.
The Academy is well equipped with all facilities not only for cricket but also for volleyball and will have the services of highly qualified personnel.
The Management of the Academy hopes to train the younger generation to reach higher levels to make their way to national teams in the future.
