Writer, blogger and author of Simple as That and Elithilum Elithu, Nafla Salahudeen is set to launch two illustrated new story books The Crown and The Robe and Hajara Counts Her Blessings on August 31, 2019 at Royal Kanyan in Kandy. The Crown and The Robe is a book for children between 4-9 years, written and illustrated with the intention that children should get to read and value Islamic story books from a young age and to train them with hifz (Quran Memorization). Hajara Counts Her Blessings targeting 5-12 year old children, helps to understand the hardships of the poor so that eventually children would develop the mindset to help other people.
Nafla is also the founder and counsellor of the VConnect Counselling Centre in Kandy.
