cold early hours
Trickling sunlight
on October cypress
awaiting winter
cold flakes of dew
mixed in light
glitter in colour
reflecting, dazzles
the seasonal cypress
swaying in the breeze
holding the frost
bathe in morning dew
birds perch and sing
birdlings awake
the tiny squeaks spreal
As twigs break below
October welcomes
change of seasons
As fragrant cypress
Command the hours
