Devananda College, Ambalangoda were in deep trouble at the end of day one in their 52nd big match against Dharmasoka College, Ambalangoda at the De Soysa Stadium, Moratuwa.
In reply to the Sokians total of 201 runs, Devananda College were reeling at 99 for 9. Thanula Sameen scored a solid 75 runs with 10 hits to the rope and two over.
Chamindu Anushka bowled best for Devananda capturing 5 for 52.
