A fine driving performance and exceptional teamwork by Team Brandix throughout the race led them to bag the top podium position at Sri Lanka’s first ever corporate Karting Challenge, the Wurth Endurance Karting Challenge 2019, held at Sri Lankan Karting Circuit’s (SLKC) international track last Saturday. The race was officiated by Ceylon Motor Sports Club.
The Brandix team comprising Namal Samarawickrama,Gihan Dias, Shehan Jayawardena, Shevan de Mel, Ruchira Abeygunawardane, Nirmal Rankothge, Shamil Ahamed and Dulari Wewagedara completed 229 laps within the prescribed three hours.
Teams Sysco Labs who finished 226 laps, was placed first runner up while Assetline Capital became the second runner up completing 224 laps.
