She breathes life
into the barren earth,
She cradlesher offspring’s
With maternal kindness,
Without her, home turns to a desert
Her brisk finger tips
brings foreign currency.
She toils overseas
for a meager wage
risking her life
to raise her humble nest.
When the leaves begin to fall
She babysits her grandchildren
Let her stay in peace
When she turns to a burnout candle,
Alwaysappreciate
her untiring labour.
