I taught language to my students;
They became politicians, polluting the society;
I taught numbers to my students.
They became entrepreneurs;
deceiving the mass.
I taught science to them;
They became doctors
exploiting the poor.
Alas! I could have taught them
To be more humane.
But to think back
it’s too late.
Only a couple of days left,
For my retirement.
With a heavy sigh principal
Closed his last log entry....
