Colombo FC crushed Solid SC by four goals to nil in a Dialog Champions League Stage Six game played at Prison ground in Anuradhapura.
The game was suspended on November 28 due to heavy rain with Colombo leading 2-0. When the match continued on December 15 Colombo FC scored two more goals.
The goals were scored by TFB Dimithri (4th and 34th minutes) and Mohamed Aakib (23rd and 79th minutes) for the winners.
Defenders FC win
Defenders FC brought down Renown SC when they won one nil in a Stage Five league game played at Kelaniya Football Complex on December 15.
The winning goal was scored by Mohamed Issadeen in the 44th minute for Defenders FC.
Yellow cards were shown to YL Jayatunga and Asikur Rahuman of Defenders.
Blue Star SC win
Blue Star SC defeated New Youngs by 2 goals to 1 in a Stage Six encounter played at the Albert F. Peiris Stadium in Wennappuwa on December 15.
E.Chigozie and Duckson Piuslas scored the goals for Blue Star. BS Nimo scored a goal for New Youngs FC.
CB Olohunwa of New Young and MM Farhad on Blue Star were shown yellow cards.
Saunders SC beaten
Crystal Palace narrowly beat Saunders by a solitary goal in an encounter played at Jayathilaka Stadium in Nawalapitiya on December 16.
Sabry Mohamed scored the goal for Crystal Palace in the 42nd minute.
KhalidAzmil and Mohamed Shimaq of Crystal Palace and Sundar Raj Niresh of Saunders were shown yellow cards.
