Excitement mounts up amongst music lovers, as the musicians gear themselves up for the season what with Christmas time and New Year's Eve fast moving into their lives.
One of the band's that has always been popular with their musical vibes is Nalin & The Star Combination. So much so that their latest CD “New Years' Sing A Long with Nalin & The Star Combination” is moving fast off the shelves.
According to Nalin “the CD is ideally suited for celebration on 31st night.

Nalin & The Star Combination are in weekly action at The Mirage, Marine Drive, on Saturdays and the Grand Oriental Hotel on Sundays. This outfit that has continuously earned its popularity with music lovers comprises Nalin Fernando – vocals and guitar, Shermila Fonseka – vocals, Ravi Fernando – keyboards and Jagath Peiris – vocals and guitar. The band's repertoire is wide, wide and consists of golden oldies, pop hits, latin hits and not to be left out Sinhala pop.
