September 28 was a day for celebration for Koreans in Sri Lanka. It was the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Korean Government. The Ambassador for Korea in Sri Lanka hosted a National Day Reception combined with the opening ceremony of the new residence in Horton Place. The chief guest was Minister Harin Fernando.
