The ‘Royal Rugby Rally’ to support of Royal Rugby for the 2018 season is a novel and exciting event that has been added to the December social calendar. The rally will be flagged off at the Main Gate of Royal College and the route will cover distance of around 70km with 10 checkpoints. The event concludes at the Orient Club where participants and well wishers will gather for lunch, prizes and auction.
Funds raised through the event will be utilized for the development and welfare of the players which includes medical expenses, equipment and needs of players.
A number of sponsors, including the Automobile Association, Fairway Holdings, the Senaratne Group of Companies, Jaguar, Land Rover and Dinesh Jayawardana have come forward to help make this event a success. Dinesh Jayawardana has been instrumental in organizing the rally and supporting this most needed cause.

Old Royalists and well wishers are welcome to join the participants at the Orient Club at midday for cocktails and entertainment. A couple of slots are still available for those who wish to participate in the event.
