A group of artistes from the Moratuwa Arts Forum (MAF) embarked on a workshop on personal dynamics for 200 senior students from many schools and communities in the cool climes of Hatton on October 12 at Sri Pada College.
The workshop comprised educative lectures based on leadership skills, effective communication, teamwork and career goals with special emphasis on peaceful co-existence among the different communities.
It was a concept of veteran musician Priya Peiris who chaired the project while lectures were delivered by Brian Coorey, Hiran Fernando and Hemaka Fernando - all reputed music artistes during their early days.
The Principal of Sri Pada College, Wasantha Kaviraja commended the Moratuwa Arts Forum and its members for organizing the project for the betterment of schoolchildren in the area.
The OBA and PPA of the school were associated with the Forum in conducting the workshop.
