The fifth annual ‘Milo’ Football tournament organized by Sports Sections of the District Secretariats of Jaffna , Kilinochchi and Provincial Education Departments , sponsored by Nestle lanka Ltd. has reached the second round. Eighteen Club teams from Jaffna (2), Killinochcchi (4), Poonerin (4), Island League (2), Maradankadi (2), Point Pedro (2) and Valikamam (20 have qualified to play in round two.)
In the Schools section in the age group of under 14 and16 ten teams each from Jaffna and Killinochchi have made their way to the second round.
Meanwhile in the under 16 age group two school teams from Jaffna and eight teams from Kilinochchi will battle in this round.
