11 June, 2017

Chathuranga Sanjaya Biyagama, a cubism palette knife artist will hold his second art exhibition in Sri Lanka at the Lionel Wendt Art Gallery from June 16 to 18 from 9 am to 6 pm.

A self-taught artist, whose profession is in the financial sector, Chaturanga has already created a name for himself overseas as a palette knife artist, having held several overseas exhibitions.

“The major objective of this exhibition is to present my internationally recognized creations to the Sri Lankan art lovers who are not much aware of my achievements and also to present how an Asian artist can reach the upmarket International Art Forums in Europe and elsewhere.

From his childhood, Chaturanga has won many national and international awards and medals for his creations. He has held solo exhibitions and group exhibitions and in several countries. Encouraged by the response he has received so far, Chaturanga wants to continue with his pastime while progressing in his career in the financial sector.
