Eva, together with the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs and the National Child Protection Authority launched “Eva Piripun Mehewara” - an island-wide initiative to create awareness on the importance of improving menstrual hygiene standards among females in Sri Lanka and to improve the standards of sanitation facilities across the country. Minister Chandrani Bandara joined a group of empowered women to launch the campaign at the Hilton Residence.
