My favourite book is Five on a Treasure Island. It is written by Enid Blyton. This is the first book of the Famous Five series. The novel features an adventure of a group of children on an island. They discover a shipwreck on the island.
They know a shipwreck off this island means there must be a treasure. They go treasure hunting in the island after they uncover a treasure map in the shipwreck. The characters are Julian, Dick, Ann, George and the dog Timmy.
I like the book because it is written in such a way that excites the young readers who like to read adventurous stories.
The story is always rural and enables children to discover the simple joys of cottages, islands the countryside and sea shores. Five on a Treasure Island in the Famous Five series is the most exciting story I’ve ever read.
