FPA’s In the Loop wins accolades at ARC Awards

18 December, 2016

The 2015 Annual Report of the Family Planning Association Sri Lanka (FPA) titled, In the Loop, won two significant accolades at the 30th International ARC Awards competition held at the Pearl Anniversary Gala and Annual Report Exhibition held at the Plaza Hotel, New York, USA.

The ARC Awards, established by MerComm, Inc. in 1987, were created to honour overall excellence in annual reports, and to encourage noteworthy and vital writing, as well as imaginative and original design. Over 2000 entries from 32 countries worldwide were received and the awards secured by the FPA Sri Lanka in the Non-Profit Organization: Social Service category were for the President’s Letter and Interior Design.

As an accredited member Association of the International Planned Parenthood Federation, FPA Sri Lanka is committed to stay globally competitive in the quality of products, services and information it provides. We believe that the Annual Report is a vital communication tool that reaches stakeholders, donors and the general public communicating the work carried out by FPA Sri Lanka in the sphere of social development and specifically in the area of Sexual and Reproductive Health. This global acknowledgement for the Report, produced by the Smart Media, comes at a very significant time as FPA Sri Lanka commenced work under a new strategic plan for the year 2016- 2022 to work towards achieving the four main outcomes outlined to create a country with access to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights for all focusing on bridging the gaps and serving the underserved.
