The board of Management of the Ummu Zavaya Mosque, M.J.M. Lafir Mawatha, Colombo 12 has organised the Annual Prophet Muhammad’s birthday Meelad un Nabi celebration under the patronage of Moulavi J. Abdul Hameed (bahji) on December 13 from 8.00 a.m. at the mosque.
SLBC Muslim Service will live broadcast the proceedings from 8.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m., Religious Committee Chairman and Sri Lanka Ambassador in Palestine Fawzan Anver said.
Managing Trustee of the Mosque Deshabandu Macky Hashim, Kaleefas, Ulamas and Muqqadams will grace the ceremony. (RF)
