Ceylon Workers Congress President and Eastern Province Governor Senthil Thondaman, who visited the Gonkalai Estate, discussed with the Estate management about the issue of half salary of the plantation workers and also addressed other trade union matters. During this discussion, the problems faced by plantation people were pointed out and the Management has agreed to solve the issues immediately
