The Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) in collaboration with the New Zealand High Commission in Sri Lanka hosted a dinner for member of the New Zealand and Sri Lanka women’s cricket teams at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel last week.
Chairman, SLTPB, Chalaka Gajabahu, New Zealand High Commissioner Michael Appleton, High Commission staff, President, Sri Lanka Cricket Shammi Silva, and senior SLTPB officials were present.
The dinner was hosted by Sri Lanka Tourism to mark the visit of the New Zealand Women’s Cricket team to Sri Lanka after 10 years, and to spread fellowship and networking among the participants. The captains of the two teams shared some interesting experiences of their tours and on cricket.
