A practical and theoretical residential training workshop, led by expert writers and journalists for writers engaged in creative writing, will be held at the Veyangoda National Cultural Training Centre on July 8 and 9.
The training workshop is organised and conducted by the Literary Advisory Council of the Department of Cultural Affairs. This workshop is held for aspiring and novice writers between the ages of 18-55 who are engaged in creative literary productions including novels, short stories and poems in the Sinhala medium. The workshop will provide practical and theoretical knowledge about the principles of writing as well as linguistic nuances.
