Koddaimunai SC Batticaloa beat Hindu Youth SC Kilinochchi by 47 runs in their inaugural Kili-Batti friendship trophy annual cricket encounter played at Koddaimunai grounds.
Batting first Koddaimunai SC scored 163 in 43.2 overs and in reply Hindu Youth SC were all out 116 in 33 overs.
Ranjan Paranavithana, who groomed several Sri Lanka players while coaching Kalutara MV and is now a youth selector of Sri Lanka Cricket was the organizer of this match and presented the awards.
