The Colombo District Women’s Cricket Association (CDWCA) will host a team called the Indian Warriors in a three-match T20 series from June 22 to 25.
The CDWCA team comprises players from Army, Navy, Air Force and Colts Cricket Club.
The touring Indian team which is called India Aadishakthi Warriors team comprises players who have played at Inter-State, Ranji Trophy and former Indian players.
The opening match on June 23 will be played at St Anthony’s College ground Wattala.
The matches on June 22 and 23 will be in the morning while on June 24 and 25 it will start at 12.30pm, according to CDWCA president Rohini Fernando.
