A team called the Dream XI Colombo beat Masters CC in the final by 30 runs to clinch the Old Mahabodians Sports Club (OMSC) Challenge Cup in their T/10 cricket tournament played at Ananda Shashtralaya ground Kotte.

Electing to bat first, Dream XI scored 109 for 4 wickets in the allotted 10 overs with valuable contributions coming from the bats of R. Sritharan (39), Niroshan Walter (30) and skipper M.S. Prashanth (22).

Chasing 110 for victory, Masters CC were restricted to 79 for 7 in 10 overs.

V. Mohan Raj won the man of the match award and the tournament’s best batsman award went to R. Sritharan who scored 79 in three matches.

Michael Joseph Anthony walked away with the best bowler of the tournament award claiming 8 for 41 in three matches.

Aveshka of OMSC was presented with the man of the series award.
