Swimming champ from Mount Calvary High School

K. Tharindi Tehansa Damsarani, a student of Mount Calvary High School, Galle, won the under-14 event at the 15th Novices Age Group Swimming Championship organized by the Inter-School Water Sports Association (SLSASA) held at Sugathadasa Swimming Pool in Colombo on February 24. She finished first in the 50 metre backstroke race in 39.12 seconds and finished third in the 200 metre individual medley race in 3 minutes 24.18 seconds. She finished fourth in the 50 metre freestyle event in a time of 35.86 seconds
